Lawn Care Technician - Pembroke, ON

We are looking for several candidates to join our growing team! We are a locally owned franchise in Canada’s largest lawn care system. We provide professional and personalized lawn care services for residential and commercial lawns. This can be a summer job to meet your immediate needs, or it can be much more and be the start of a rewarding career path with different options to pursue and grow both personally and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 19 years of age (For insurance purposes)

• Possess a valid driver’s license with relatively clean driving record

• Willingness to work outside during spring, summer and fall weather conditions

• Able to lift up to fifty pounds

• This position involves a lot of walking while servicing the customers lawns

• Strong communication skills and work ethic

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but still play well with others.

• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance

A lawn care technician travels in a company vehicle to our customer’s lawns and applies lawn care products to the turf grass. You will also be trained to provide lawn care advice with the aim of helping the customer achieve the best results possible for their lawn. During the day you will interact with customers and co-workers on a regular basis. In addition to applying the products and providing advice and recommendations, you will also field requests from neighbors for service pricing and options for their lawns.

This is an outdoor position with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including wet, dry, hot and cold. You will be required to spend a lot of time on your feet and there is a lot of walking involved.
